వీర నారాయణ ఆలయం

వీర నారాయణ ఆలయం భారతదేశంలోని కర్ణాటక రాష్ట్రంలోని చిక్కమగళూరు జిల్లాలోని బెలవాడి అనే గ్రామంలో ఉంది.

ఈ ఆలయం హొయసల సామ్రాజ్యం పాలనలో నిర్మించబడింది. పురాణానికి ఏకాచక్రనగర అని పిలుస్తారు

 పాండవ యువరాజు భీమా బకాసుర అనే రాక్షసుడిని చంపి గ్రామాన్ని, దాని ప్రజలను రక్షించిన మహాభారతంలో పేర్కొన్న ప్రదేశం బేలావాడి.

బేనూర్ లోని కేశవ, కేశవ లేదా విజయనారాయణ ఆలయం అని కూడా పిలువబడే చెన్నకేశవ ఆలయం భారతదేశంలోని కర్ణాటక రాష్ట్రంలోని హసన్ జిల్లాలో 12 వ శతాబ్దపు హిందూ దేవాలయం. క్రీస్తుశకం 1117 లో విష్ణువర్ధన రాజు దీనిని బేలూర్‌లోని యాగచి నది ఒడ్డున ప్రారంభ హొయసల సామ్రాజ్య రాజధాని వెలాపురా అని కూడా పిలిచారు.

The Veera Narayana temple is located in Belavadi, a village in the Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka state, India.

The temple was built during the rule of the Hoysala Empire. Known to legend as Ekachakranagara

 Belavadi is said to be the place mentioned in Mahabharatha where Pandava prince Bheema killed the demon Bakasura and protected the village and its people. 

The Chennakeshava Temple, also referred to as Keshava, Kesava or Vijayanarayana Temple of Belur, is a 12th-century Hindu temple in the Hassan district of Karnataka state, India. It was commissioned by King Vishnuvardhana in 1117 CE, on the banks of the Yagachi River in Belur also called Velapura, an early Hoysala Empire capital.
